Family Learning

Since Grimm & Co first opened our doors in 2014, we have welcomed thousands of children and young people between the ages of 7 and 18. However, we know that communication and imagination starts much earlier than that!

In late 2021, we received funding to be able to work with families with children aged 0-5, on creative story themed activities and fun literacy sessions.  At Grimm & Co we recognise that YOU are your child’s main educator. We want to support you and work with you to develop your child’s learning.

We are so excited to have launched this programme in Spring 2022, starting with an introductory session on slime!  The next sessions took place in April, with a focus on rhyme time for under 2s, helping you to introduce your little ones to stories and rhymes through positive interactions and play.  We also hosted family sessions with 2-5 year olds, and worked together to create your very own story sack, a resource that could be taken away and used again and again. Ignite your child’s imagination and develop fun learning opportunities together.

We look forward to developing further sessions over the coming months, and we’d love to hear from you!  If you would like to find out more about what we offer, please contact Louise at families@grimmandco.co.uk.
