Artsmark Day to Create

Day to Create – It’s not too late to join the party!

Artsmark Award, the only creative quality standard for schools, is inviting schools and education settings across England to take part in Day to Create on Wednesday 6 July 2022.

What is it?

Day to Create will bring over 1,300 schools across the country together, to participate in exciting arts activities and share and celebrate young people’s creativity.

Artsmark have worked with Grimm and Co and Little Inventors, to develop imaginative activities for education settings to participate in on the day.  We hope these will help children express themselves, discover their creative potential, and have fun! All the resources are available online, for free.

To enjoy the Little Inventors activities, click HERE.

Have a go at the Grimm & Co activities over on the Day to Create page HERE.  There are activities for Key stages 1-4, with variations and accessible versions of the resources.  We’d love to know how you get on with them.

Illustrated words of Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. Illustrated text of Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

Day to Create is an Artsmark community day open to all schools in England, and you don’t have to be registered for Artsmark to take part! You don’t even need to be part of a school!  It’s a great way to see Artsmark in action and show that you champion creative education for all young people!

If you’re joining the party on Wednesday 6 July, show what you’re up to by tagging us on Twitter and Facebook using #DaytoCreate and #Artsmark20.
