Creative Producer Alumni Trainee

PLEASE NOTE: To apply for this role you MUST have previously been employed on a traineeship with Children’s Capital of Culture and HAVE NOT previously been employed in a Children’s Capital of Culture alumni role.

Trainees will have the opportunity to draw on their own experiences, interests and skills
within the Creative Producer Trainee role. They will also advance and develop skills and
understanding of the many roles and functions around creative programming and events.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
• Co-constructing consultations with communities to further develop Grimm & Co’s
activities and programmes and resources to ensure relevance, including supporting
data capture and evaluation
• Events and project planning
• Marketing support such as creating assets for social media on Canva
• Retail support and supporting fundraising activities
• In-session support for school groups
• Facilitating out-of-school activity including creative writing programmes and
creative drop-ins.
• Arts/creative outputs, e.g. producing A-frames, displays, props making, resources
and textiles.
• Leading on activities for the Feastery (Grimm & Co’s café)
• Establishing Grimm & Co’s garden and outdoor environment as a creative learning
space.
• Supporting trainees to create and develop the use of a wellbeing garden/retreat for
children, young people, volunteers and staff.
