WE Wonder festival:

We were delighted to be part of the first ever WE Wonder Festival; an enchanting and immersive family arts festival in the stunning grounds of Wentworth Woodhouse stately home.

Working alongside the team at Wentworth Woodhouse and Great Place Wentworth & Elsecar, we helped programme a whole area of the festival site: Grimm’s Enchanted Glade! This truly magical space featured activities and events to delight all ages and all denominations of being (from humans to harpies).  From pop-up poetry tents to immersive theatre performances written and directed by young people.  Wand-making and potions to professional bands performing songs penned by youngsters.  Immersive trails throughout the grounds featured a vast array of amazing writing.  Children and young people created all this during Grimm & Co’s free creative workshops!

WE Wonder Festival was a truly memorable experience for children, young people, and their families.  It was a spectacular celebration of the stunning work created by our young writers.

The music performed in Grimm’s Enchanted Glade was also part of a wider song-writing project.  This resulted in the album, Lyrical, available in our online shop.
